Welcome | Members & Affiliates | Contest

Congratulations to

our new moderator. Thankyou to all the people who offered help, it is most appreciated.

Also, a short(ish) while ago, *Sabine-E asked for help writing an article about Arabian horses
"hey, would you and your club be interested in writing an article for my website? it can be a few paragraphs long, and should contian anything relevent to the Arabian breed. you don't have to, but it might be fun to get everyone together and make an aticle.

If you would like to help with this little project please leave a comment in this journal.

Ideas for areas you could work on:
>Basic breed facts (height, colour, main uses etc)
>origins and history of the breed
>Arab horses in art
>Famous Arab horses past and present.
>Information on the various studbooks.
>Information on caring for and competing with an Arabian horse.

I think this would be a great oppourtinity for us all to learn more about our favourite breed.

We will accept: text, links to other sites or relavent images, your own photos or artwork. Other photos or artwork should only be included with expressed written permission.

The finished article will be displayed in a journal here and on *Sabine-Es website

Hello! This account is a club account, meaning that we host pictures created by many different artists. If you would like to use a picture you must follow the link in the picture description to find the artist that created it and contact them directly asking for their permission to use it.

If you have any questions or if that didn't make sense, let me know.

And please remember to always get the artist's permission before using any of their pictures-- some artists can get very upset if they aren't asked first.

Haha! I graduated college this past semester and I have yet to get a job, so I am pretty much free, weekdays or weekends work fine. I am going camping with my crazy Arab for the first time May 4-6 but that is the only weekend I know I have something going!

You are more than welcome to come and ride! I have a friend that lives in Canton, so I think it is about a 2-3 hour trip to my place in Bitely, MI. Arianna, my Arab, is pretty lazy and she walks nice and slow but if you trot her it is pretty bouncy! Just let me know if you want to set up a date...or if you are ever on the west side of the state!

I could probably come if you invited me. I have a little bit of riding experience, although I can't ride any faster than a trot. I would love to ride one of them. I mean, if its alright with you. I live in Canton, MI and I love horses, especially arabians!
